Arm Lift (Brachioplasty)

Increased lubrication and sagging in the arm area can occur due to aging, frequent weight gain, and genetic predisposition. When you present with a complaint of lubrication and sagging in the arm area, we first assess the amount of excess skin and fat. If there is no loss of elasticity in your skin and the increase in fat is very slight, we can offer you some non-surgical solutions. If your skin structure is adequate and you only have increased fat, then we will be able to give you the look you want with just liposuction. However, sometimes there is excessive sagging of the skin and when the arms are spread out to the sides, a so-called “bat wing” appearance appears. In this case, the only solution is the surgical arm lift.

We prefer to perform arm lift surgeries under general anesthesia. We remove the excess skin and soft tissue with the marks we make before surgery. As a result of this surgery, you will have a scar that will extend from your armpit to your elbow. If necessary, it can also be reshaped with liposuction during surgery. You can be discharged the next day. The pain is not very expected, although it is easily controlled with painkillers. You will need to wear an arm brace for an average of 1 month. At the end of 1 week, you will be able to do your daily work and at the end of 2 weeks, you will be able to do light exercises. For heavy arm exercises, you will have to wait 8 weeks.
