Face Lift

Where the physical signs of aging are perhaps the first visible; is the face area. The first thing we recommend to our patients with this ailment is not a face lift. We can achieve a more youthful facial appearance with many applications such as botox and filler applications, fat injections. However, as time passes, the loss of elasticity and sagging of the skin becomes more severe and these applications are no longer a solution for you. In this case, a face lift can be planned. In other words, facelift surgeries are the last stage of facial rejuvenation.

Yüz Germe Estetiği

The surgery is performed under general anesthesia and lasts at least 3-4 hours. The incision is made in front of the ear and extends behind the ear. The main stretching part is a layer called "SMAS", located between the facial muscles and the skin, and covering the muscles. The skin is fitted to the stretched SMAS layer and the excess skin is cut away. The points run from the front of the ear to the back. After a few months, a vague scar remains. A forehead lift, a neck lift, an eyelid lift and, if necessary, a fat injection can also be performed in the same session.

You may need to stay in the hospital for 1 to 2 days after surgery. You may have significant swelling and bruising for the first few days. By the end of 1 week, your swelling will subside, and you'll usually be able to return to work by the end of 2 weeks. You will need to wait 2-3 months to get the main result of the surgery. If you are going to have face lift surgery and you are a smoker, you should stop smoking at least 3-4 weeks before and you should not smoke for 3-4 weeks after surgery. The negative effects of smoking on blood circulation are known. We do not recommend performing this surgery on smokers, as irreparable results such as facial skin necrosis (tissue death) may occur in smokers.
